Burlesque star and former girlfriend of Marilyn Manson, Dita Von Teese is set to release her own range of burlesque lingerie through underwear giant Wonderbra. Dita Von Teese, dubbed the Queen of Burlesque, has designed a luxury lingerie line that draws inspiration from the 1940's and 1950's era and combines it with modern strip tease and neo burlesque styles.The Wonderbra Dita range consists of three different designs called Multi Teese, Spot Teese and Satin Teese. The new range is sure to be a favourite with both men and women. The lingerie is both luxurious and feminine providing support and comfort whilst also coming complete with magnetic parts that will allow you to perform your own private strip tease.
The range of underwear is set to be released on September 23rd and the marketing campaign is already causing a stir. Wonderbra are renowned for their previous advertisements such as the Hello Boys that launched the brand. This time around the release of the underwear range will be preceded by a film featuring Miss Von Teese entitled "The Science Of Sexy". There are already previews and sneak peaks of the film available all over the web and it has already created a buzz in the media.
Debbie Rix the European marketing director for Wonderbra is quoted as saying "Dita oozes glamour and understands how to make women feel sexy - she was a natural fit for the Wonderbra brand. We're thrilled to partner with Dita; the collection truly does capture her essence and that of our brand". Dita, known for her corsets and stockings, has commented on the range by saying "'I am very proud of the lingerie that I've created for Wonderbra, because it has all the beautiful detail of sexy, sensual and glamorous lingerie, but the fit is perfect to wear under your everyday clothes."
I'm sure that when the range is released it will cause a stir and will more than likely be a hit for both men and women this Christmas.
